Debbie has a family and is going through a rough patch. Lately, it seems like her husband and daughters are facing some tough times as well. If people aren’t being nice, Debbie is definitely the person you want on your side.
I liked this book so much! I’m a huge fan of all Freida McFadden’s books, and this one did not disappoint. I honestly think it could turn into a limited series or movie someday. It’s a beautifully disturbing thriller that I really enjoyed listening to. Julia Whelan, January LaVoy, and Scott Brick are absolute masters at narration. I’ve listened to other books they’ve narrated and they’re some of my favorites!
Honestly, I highly recommend this audiobook — it’s a wild ride and I loved every second of it! 😊

I can confidently say this is Freida McFadden’s best book to date 🏆📚✨ I finished it in one sitting because putting it down was simply not an option
The writing is addictive, sharp, and relentless 💉✍️⚡ Debbie as a character is completely unhinged but somehow grounded enough to feel disturbingly real 😈🧠👀 A menace. An icon. A walking red flag 🚩💅🔥
And the twists. THE TWISTS. Some of Freida’s more recent books played it a little safe, but not this one 😌🔪 🪤 You will NEVER see them coming. 🌀😱
